A vibration sensor and a motion
sensor are available from a supplier
of components for position sensing
and automation. The di-kus vibration
and contact sensor supports the
management of vibration for motor
bearings, part feeders, and other
vibration-sensitive applications,
while the noncontacting OBS motion
sensor detects movement of any sort,
including the surface of stored liquid.
The vibration sensor is packaged
in an aluminum housing and offers
timing and sensitivity adjustment;
the flexible device can be integrated
easily into any system or machine.
The motion sensor employs infrared
technology that can detect the
slightest movement on a conveyor
belt, in a machine feeder, or in
another application. Also providing
for sensitivity adjustment and
mounting flexibility, this sensor
comes in a choice of industry-standard outputs.

Peristaltic Pump
Suited for medical applications
requiring frequent tube changes,
a peristaltic pump for continuous
tubing handles flow rates ranging
from 0.25 to 3000 ml/min. The
313D pump head features a sleek
design and can be supplied in custom
colors to coordinate with the OEM’s
equipment. In addition, it can be
customized to work with any pump-grade tubing. Because the fluid being
pumped is contained in the USP
Class VI–approved tubing, cleaning
the pump consists of changing a
tube and does not require tools or
adjustments. The pump contains
neither valves nor seals and can
run dry without incurring damage.
Extension heads are available,
enabling users to stack as many as
six pump heads on a single drive.
