RoHS-Compliant
Transformers
A line of RoHS-compliant
transformers is available with various
input and output voltages and
capacitance ratings. The transformers’
winding process can reduce leakage
inductance and energy transfer.
Suitable for environmentally
conscious applications, they do not
contain lead, mercury, cadmium,
hexavalent chromium, polychlorinated
biphenyl (PCB), or polybrominated
diphenyl ether (PBDE) in
concentrations that exceed allowable
levels. The transformers are used
in MRIs, portable x-ray machines,
hospital beds, electrosurgical tools,
and other OEM medical applications.

Self-Clinching Access
Hardware
Self-clinching access hardware
incorporates a captive screw in a
spring-loaded assembly to reduce
parts counts and prevent screws from
falling out and damaging internal
equipment components. Enabling
quick and easy access to internal
components, EM Type PF50 panel
fastener assemblies meet UL 508
operator access area requirements,
while Type PF60 assemblies meet
UL 1950 service access area
requirements. Their low-profile design
minimizes protrusion on front panels
and contributes to enhanced front-panel appearance. Depending on
their size, the fasteners protrude only
0.340 in. from the top of the sheet
when tightened. They incorporate
a Phillips recess to enable captive
screws to be tightened or loosened
using a Phillips screwdriver. Their
large knurled or smooth heads
also allow technicians to fasten
or unfasten them without the use
of tools.
